CS8 Connector Family

The CS8 family is Otter’s newest 360° connector set. Based on the design of the connector for Otter’s successful A8 kettle control the CS8 – CP1 provides a cost effective versatile connector for a variety of appliances.

Connection Options

CS8 Socket

The standard socket with a shutterless design, devised to effectively manage and drain ingress water. Supports 360 degree docking orentations, offering a low cost, high performance solution commonly used for electric kettles.

CP1 Plug

The standard plug with a low profile design for thin appliance bases such as milk frothers. Supports up to 10A at 240V AC.

CP2 Plug

The washproof variant of the CP1, offering the same great performance with washproofing.

CS7 Connector Family

The CS7 family Otter’s system to provide a wash-proof 360° connector system. The ability to make appliances wash-proof adds value for customers and dramatically reduces field returns caused by users immersing appliances when cleaning.

  • 360° cordless connector system, in the same family as the A11 and A12 series kettle controls
  • Shuttered design, devised to effectively prevent ingress water and offer improved aesthetics
  • Dishwasher proof plug, allowing for dishwasher washable appliances
  • Opti-Comms communications variant availible, allowing seamless data transmission between appliance and base

CS7 Socket

The standard socket of the CS7 family, shared with the A1 kettle control series. Shuttered design, devised to effectively prevent ingress water and offer a more attractive design.

CP84 Plug

The standard dishwasher proof plug of the family, allowing for dishwasher washable appliances.

CP85 Plug

The revised CP84 plug, allowing for a lower profile installation in shorter appliance bases.

CP845 / CS75 Opticomms enable variant.

Our dependable CS7/CP8 combo with an additional infrared communication system. Offering 360 compatible data communication while avoiding additional pins which would increase its visual footprint.

The C6 connector set is Otter’s newest non rotating connector set. Designed to blend in with our 360 offerings, it provides 6 poles in an keyed orenientation body.

The socket for the set, shutterless devised to effectively manage and drain ingress water. Keyed geometry ensures correct docking orientation despite the apparent symmetry of the design.

C6P Socket

The plug of the set, washproof as standard allowing for dishwasher proof appliances. Low profile and easy to design for.
